Deep Offshore Services Nigeria Ltd. is a hundred per cent Nigerian limited liability company incorporated in Nigeria on June 8, 2012 for the carrying on of business as infrastructural and facilities development, investment advisory, management services, personnel and procurement services.

The company’s main line of business is to develop, own, lease and manage large industrial class facilities, jetties and port facilities for the Oil & Gas Industry in Nigeria. It also acts as handlers and suppliers of industrial materials, advisory services and a provider of day to day logistics support for companies in the Oil & Gas Free Zone, Onne. Deep Offshore has identified gaps and unsatisfied industrial needs in Nigeria for world-class fabrication and construction facilities to meeting the growing needs of the Oil and Gas Industry and the industrial capacity of Nigeria. With the sole focus of setting the pace for customer satisfaction, the Company is set to make a mark and create a niche for itself as an industrial pace maker in the Nigerian Oil and Gas Service Sector. To achieve this feat, the Company has commenced work to establish exemplary industrial facilities unrivalled in Nigeria geared towards top class service that will tower above its competitors.

Deep Offshore Services Nigeria Ltd. is the new concessionaire and investor in the development of Onne Oil & Gas Free Zone with the project named “Phase 4B”.

Onne Oil and Gas FZ today is the biggest and first FZ in Africa completely dedicated to Oil and Gas activities considering the volume of materials in and out and the number of existing clients.

DeepOffshore has selected Onne as the perfect location to support deep offshore related activities aiming to develop the best infrastructure for construction and fabrication related to Oil and Gas in West Africa.

The game changer

600 ha (6 million sqm) of new facilities for Construction yards

The new project inland section will be in excess of 600 ha (or 6 million square metres) and include a new channel of 50 ha. It is expected to be completed in 6 – 8 years, considering the major settlement expected in the area.


Fabrication and construction yards 3,500 Metres jetty with 8/10 m draft 346 ha

The shore protection will comprise steel sheet piles at the front, connected by tie-rods to the back anchor wall and reinforced concrete piles, supporting a reinforced concrete slab for the port operations.
The area between the front and the anchor walls will be structurally filled with sand and sand-cement layers and topped with reinforced concrete paving slabs of 150mm thickness. The area of paving will be in excess of 100,000m2


Stacking area 2,000 Metres jetty with 12/14 m draft 234 ha

The project has been conceived as an extension of the existing Berths 9, 10 & 11, using similar designs and construction techniques. The new jetty, located all along the Bonny River, will include 8 Berths from B_12 to B_19 of 250 m each with 4 quays each of 62.5 m. In line with Operators and NPA requirements, the jetty will have 12 metres draft Chart Datum (lowest astronomical tide) and will support loads of 6T/m2 on 29 “Standard Quay” and 12T/m2 on 3 Heavy load platforms (HLP).
